Biography
I began my radio
career at age 16. At the age of 19 I moved to Bakersfield and
went to country powerhouse KUZZ/KCWR. My career there lasted
more than 16 years. Concurrent with my on-air radio career,
I
entered the night club scene. I spent time as lead disc jockey
and entertainment and promotions director for the most popular
nightclub at that time, Roxanne's. I spent most of the 1990s
there, at Cadillac Ranch, and most recently, karoake at Buck
Owens' Crystal Palace.
It was time
spent in the clubs that led to my love of entertainment,
since I
was able to see the response first-hand, rather than only
playing music on the radio. During the late 1980s and early
1990s I did a few weddings off and on, but time (or rather
lack of time) was a factor.
In early 1995
I embraced the mobile disc jockey business as its own
enterprise. I purchased what was needed and went to work and
have been going strong ever since.
I take great
pride in what I do and love interacting, and connecting
with the audience, playing
music from all formats. I have earned the respect of area wedding
consultants as well as hotel event planners and enjoy
a large number of return and referral business. I specialize
in weddings and do around 100 events a year.
